A native of Ballyshannon in south Donegal, Gareth served his apprenticeship at Bundoran Golf Club under Professional David Robinson. Upon PGA qualification in 1997 Gareth continued to hone his skills and passion for the game at well known courses such as Castlehume Golf Club in Fermanagh and Rossmore GC in Monaghan. An avid reader and student of all elements of the game Gareth has continued with his studies throughout his Professional career.
In 2005 Gareth secured the Head Professionals’ position at Edmondstown Golf Club in Rathfarnham, Dublin. This new appointment necessitated the development and maintenance of the retail aspects of the business as well as the establishment of a client base for coaching. Five years on and Gareth has established himself as one of the most highly sought after coaches in the South Dublin area.
Gareth’s reputation is based on his communication skills and ability to advise on the technical, physical and mental aspects of the game as they apply to each individual player. From fellow professionals to complete novices Gareth can structure a programme which allows you to tap into and play consistently to your true golfing potential.
